Arthur Sommer Rotenberg Chair in Suicide Studies
Established in 1977, the Chair and the Suicide Studies Unit form an academic program affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. It is based at St. Michael's Hospital, an urban health care facility located in inner-city Toronto. The multi-professional team is headed by Dr. Paul S. Links, Professor of Psychiatry, University of Toronto.

Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center
The Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center at the Beijing Hui Long Guan Hospital, administered by the Beijing Bureau of Health, was the first institution in the country given specific responsibility to conduct research related to suicide and suicide prevention. The Center also operates the first national crisis hotline, as well as a comprehensive website, an outpatient clinic, training courses at a national level, and coordinate large-scale public awareness promotion events.

National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC)
The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), a center of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), works to reduce morbidity, disability, mortality, and costs associated with injuries. The WISQARS Database is an interactive database system that provides customized reports of injury-related data.

National Library of Medicine (Medline PLUS)
The National Library of Medicine is the world's largest medical library. Located on the campuses of the National Institute of Health, the Library collects materials and provides information and research services in all areas of biomedicine and health care.

NIMH Suicide Research Consortium
The National Institute of Mental Health Suicide Research Consortium is working to improve mental health through biomedical research on mind, brain and behavior.

Oxford University Centre for Suicide Research
The Centre focuses on the investigation of the causes, treatment and prevention of suicidal behavior.

SafetyLit.org 
SafetyLit is a service of the San Diego State University Graduate School of Public Health in cooperation with the World Health Organization. The weekly SafetyLit Update Bulletin provides abstracts of English language reports from researchers who work in the more than 30 professional disciplines relevant to preventing unintentional  injuries, violence, and self-harm.

Suicide Prevention and Resource Center (SPRC)
The Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) supports suicide prevention with the best of science, skills and practice. The Center provides prevention support, training, and informational materials to strengthen suicide prevention networks and advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

Unit for Suicide Research (Belgium)
The Unit was founded in order to address the high rates of suicide in Belgium. The main objective of the Unit is to contribute to the prevention of suicidal behavior in this European country.
