Crisis Centers Accreditation Preparation Webinar

The American Association of Suicidology accreditation process strives to recognize exemplary crisis programs, and to help other programs refine their services according to these standards. The accreditation process stimulates self-evaluation and the improvement of suicide prevention and crisis intervention services.

The Organization Accreditation Standards Manual is designed to assist the policy boards, administrators, and professional staff of various agencies to evaluate their crisis programs by measuring them against best minimum standards of service. The standards manual is reviewed and updated annually to meet the changing crisis services environment.

This webinar will help organizations prepare for initial accreditation or re-accreditation by;

  •  reviewing the basics of the accreditation process,
  •  highlighting important areas in the manual, and
  •  explaining changes and updates that have been made over the last 5 years.

The organization will be better prepared to understand the accreditation process and to achieve good results.
